Italian Ciabatta with Chicken Bologna and Provolone
A delicious combination of simple ingredients for a balanced meal, ideal for lunch bags or on the go.

List of ingredients
2 x 250 g packages of Flamingo sliced Chicken Bologna
4 large ciabatta buns
15 ml (1 tablespoon) extra virgin olive oil
400 g provolone cheese, sliced
2 Italian tomatoes, sliced
4 leaves of romaine lettuce
100 ml mayonnaise
50 g sun dried tomato pesto
Ground black pepper to taste
Preparation
Mix mayonnaise and sun dried tomato pesto together, season with pepper to taste and reserve.
Cut in half the ciabatta buns and brush the inside with olive oil. Grill on BBQ or in the oven at broil.
Spread the mayonnaise equally inside the buns and garnish with lettuce, bologna, tomato and provolone cheese.
Tip
from the chef
If you don’t have a ciabatta bun handy, a baguette, pita, tortilla or simply sliced bread would make also a delicious sandwich.
