Turkey Asian Satays

As appetizers or main course, the entire family will simply love these healthy turkey brochettes!

List of ingredients

  • Approx. 16 turkey breast cubes
  • 65 ml (1/4 cup) soya sauce
  • 8 ml (1/2 tablespoon) sesame oil
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) peanut butter
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) lemon juice
  • 5 ml (1 teaspoon) honey
  • Mesclun lettuce leaves
  • 250 ml (1 cup) bean sprouts
  • 1 grated carrot
  • Crushed peanuts

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, mix the sauce soya sauce with sesame oil, peanut butter, lemon juice and honey.
  2. Using brochette skewers, assemble 4 turkey pieces on each skewer.
  3. Put the assembled skewers in the marinade and put it in the refrigerator for 3 - 4 hours.
  4. In a frying pan over medium-high heat or on the barbecue, grill the brochettes for 5 minutes on each side.
  5. Serve with mesclun salad, grated carrots and bean sprouts. Sprinkle crushed peanuts on top.

  • Sataysare a great idea for a tapas type meal. Serve them with a peanut butter sauce.
