Turkey Tagliatelles with Sundried Tomatoes and Pesto

Try grilled turkey to in your favourite pasta dish for a change!

List of ingredients

  • 4 turkey breasts cut in strips
  • 1 x 350 g packages of Tagliatelles
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper
  • 1 package cherry tomatoes
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) white wine
  • 250 ml (1 cup) 35% cooking cream
  • 5 ml (1 teaspoon) basil pesto
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) sundried tomatoes
  • Salt and ground black pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Cook the tagliatelles as indicated on their package. Reserve.
  2. In the meantime, grill in the oven at broil the bell peppers and cherry tomatoes for approx. 5 minutes. Reserve.
  3. In a hot fryingpan, grill the turkey strips for about 5 minutes on each side. Reserve.
  4. In the same frying pan, deglaze with the white wine. Add the cooking cream, pesto and sundried tomatoes. Let it reduce on low heat.
  5. On the cooked pasta, add the sauce, turkey strips and grilled vegetables.
